This was an unexpected but wonderful find in the hills of Thousand Oaks. This home is on the edge of a canyon and has incredible views of mountains in all directions! Amelia's attention to detail, her well appointed rooms and immaculately clean home felt like being at a hidden resort. But, what really stands out to me, is her genuineness and kindness. If you don't like hotels, and want the warmth of home, this is the place!

I stayed at Amelia’s place for four weeks to do my clinical rotation and I enjoyed my stay very much. The room is homey with a nice view. The bed is super comfy, there’s a desk that’s a good size for me to study on, access to a printer, and there’s a mini fridge as well as access to the fridge in the kitchen. Amelia always made sure the bathroom is clean. She is accessible whenever you need anything and would inform you if there’s another guest staying during your stay. The pets are absolutely adorable so that’s a plus! Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I had the zen room. Amelia and her family are friendly, respectful, and gracious hosts. My room was beautiful, with a beautiful view - I worked on Zoom one day from the house, wifi and accommodations were perfect for this. A few little extras that were wonderful: space heater, fluffy blankets, super comfy bed and pillows, mini fridge and microwave in the closet. Room was spotless and tastefully decorated, bathroom as well. Everything is kept up and VERY neat and clean. Amelia even provided me shampoo and soap, since I'd forgotten mine. Things I like to read about when I book a place. Most important to me is clean and quiet, am a very light sleeper. House is very quiet between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Animals are not loud or disturbances and very friendly. There are two other rooms that Amelia does through airbnb so I had a couple in each of the two rooms next to me and we all shared the bathroom....a little dormitory feeling. Everyone was quiet, respectful and clean. Would book again.
