This place was perfect, seriously. had everything we needed, and some cute little surprises. We felt very comfortable, it was very clean, and it was located very close to everything. the neighborhood has a firehouse, so you may hear a siren or two, but generally it's very quiet as well. The kitchen is small but very well stocked. The only complaint we have was the drive way..... the entrance is short and steep, and if you drive a sedan or small vehicle, you will bottom it out. In fact we actually sadly ended up popping a bolt on one side of our bumper on our last day. you can see the divots in the drive so we are clearly not the only ones to do this. we will definitely come back, we may just park in the street instead next time!

We had an amazing week staying at Katie’s Kottage! The home is in a great location and perfect for a beach vacation with our two teens. We spent most of our time at the beach and walking the strand. We also enjoyed the 61st fishing pier, mini golf and batting cages at Magic Carpet, shaved ice from Hurricane, and Pleasure Pier! Dinner at Jimmy’s on the Pier was fun and Papa’s Pizza is delicious! Thank you for providing an affordable and welcoming home for a memorable vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. All the activities were within a 5-10 minute drive.

We enjoyed visiting Galveston and this location made a great home base to see the city!
