'Yuana' is a romantic treehouse, simply furnished with furniture made of recycled materials, but equipped with all conveniences! Enjoy the beautiful tree, singing birds and whistling frogs from the open porch or experience pure bliss in the outdoor shower! The atmosphere at Mondi Lodge is relaxed, romantic and very private; rest is easy to find! Our local, multilingual staff maintains our personal service and is open to improvement. Our breakfast specials are received with great enthusiasm! It's a small eco-friendly lodge, run by your hostess Danita who wants you to feel at home. She offers you all the comfort you need in a beautiful, natural and serene environment.

My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience. Danita and her crew were welcoming, showed a genuine interest in us, gave us grrat tips. etc. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Danita went above and beyond to show true hospitality. I love the story behind their place. They rescue stray cats, dogs, and other animals. If you'd like your stay to go towards a good cause, stay with Danita!
We absolutely loved our stay in the tree house! So cozy and private! Wishing we were still there! All the staff were so friendly and helpful & kind. The gardens were so quiet and peaceful. The pool is great ! We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the community kitchen. We loved all the animals who live on site and we really enjoyed the daily breakfast! We had the BEST few days staying in the treehouse!! It was so relaxing to be completely surrounded by nature, while also very close to downtown and gorgeous beaches, plus just 2 minutes from flamingos! We loved our hammock time, pool time, and the breakfasts were INCREDIBLE! The staff were great, and their pets were the sweetest. Will definitely be recommending it to friends!
Danita was the most amazing host! The property is magical and better than described. Breakfast each morning was top notch and the other hosts were fantastic as well. Will stay again at this unique jungle paradise!
Very beautiful location. Danita was very kind from the beginning of our stay to end. We would definitely stay there again. Also the breakfast was delicious!

What we love about our neighborhood is that we are centrally located on the island. We are 2 minutes away from 4 beaches and it is also possible to hike to a mountain and see flamingos in the wild from where we are.
The most beautiful part of the island (Banda Abou aka Westpunt, where all the beautiful beaches are) is just around the corner.
Willemstad, our capital city and protected by UNESCO, is about ten minutes driving by car.
Public transport is not one of Curaçao's best features. We do have a bus stop in front of our lodge, but we advise our guests to rent a car (also available through us). We have enough free parking space.

Hi, I am Danita. I'm 40 years old and moved back from Holland to my birth island Curaçao. Together with my family I built a small lodge, surrounded by nature, on the grounds where a big part of my family grew up. I made a career switch from being a nurse to running this eco-friendly lodge.
