Fredericksburg · 住宿加早餐里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Loeffler-Weber Cabin
Built by German settler Gerhard Rorig in 1846, this cabin served as a Sunday House. Sunday Houses were a second home where men stayed on weekends after a night of drinking with their friends. They were located near a church, so they could attend church on Sundays. This cabin was later added on and renovated by Johann Loeffler and his son-in-law J. Charles Weber. The home stayed in the Loeffler-Weber family for 90 years. Then George and Gloria Hill bought and restored it in the 1960s. Today, the Loeffler-Weber Cabin offers cozy bed and breakfast lodging. Our cabin combines rich history with a few modern touches to provide a special vacation experience in Texas Hill Country. Some of those modern touches include an antique king-size bed, a wood burning fireplace and a wet bar with gourmet coffee beans and locally sourced pastries. The highlight of the Loeffler-Weber Cabin is the history behind it. From the wood-burning fireplace to the rustic masonry, you’ll feel like you’re in another time when you stay here. The Loeffler-Weber Cabin is located in Fredericksburg, TX and within close proximity to activities & attractions including a number of dining options, shops, galleries, frequent outdoor events, wineries and more. ***Please note this cabin is located on Main St. so it is not recommended for light sleepers. ***To keep the cabin true to its original build, the Fredericksburg Historical Commission does not allow structural changes to the cabin, including door height and steps.
Great stay, has a lot of charm and character. Great location on Main Street, near restaurants, bars, and shopping centers.
Great little cottage that felt super cozy and comfortable. Although old, it was very charming and had all the modern day comforts you’d expect. The private hot tub was a plus too. Everything downtown was a walkable distance which made getting around even easier. Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again in the future.
Stacey was very responsive and helpful with everything including recommendations. Loved the hot tub. The complimentary pastries and drinks were just right. Walkable to Main St.
During your stay, learn about the town’s rich German history, tour the Wildseed Farms, the largest working wildflower farm in the country, or go horseback riding and picnicking at one of our beautiful parks. Fredericksburg is home to many great museums, like the Pacific War Museum and Pioneer Museum on Main Street. The Market Platz is 1/2 a mile east, just a 10 minute walk. Here there are many festivals, including Oktoberfest, the local farmer's market in the summer, live music and thousands of lights decorating the entire Market Platz for Christmas.
Fredericksburg is a very walkable town, but if you're looking to just relax, you can also call an Uber, Lift or a local taxi.
