Dereham cottage was very clean and comfortable, with everything in fine working order. Rebecca was very helpful with her proactive instructions, and provided a lovely starter breakfast of eggs, milk, bread and butter. The location is great: the cottage is about 800 feet from the village train station, and about 400 feet from a large COOP supermarket. At the train station is a bus stop with bus connections to several other Cotswold villages. The cottage matched all of the listing photos and descriptions. In short, Dereham cottage provides a charming and comfortable home base for a visit to the entire Cotswold region. Note that the cottage has stairs to the sleeping areas and hence is not a good option for those who would be challenged by this layout.
Great location ! Super close to the Train station. Great home and was perfect for our group. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Moreton-in-marsh was a great location because we were a 5 minute walk from both the bus stop and the train station so it was very easy getting around in public transport. Upon arrival we were so pleased that there was fresh bread, local butter, and fresh eggs for us to enjoy! The tea cabinet was well stocked and everything in the house worked as advertised. We had a minor issue trying to figure out to turn on the hot water heater upstairs and Rebecca messaged me back within 15 minutes to help us sort it out. I would stay again! 5 stars all around
We loved our stay in Rebecca's cosy cottage - it was wonderfully located for exploring Moreton-in-Marsh as well as the Batsford Arboretum and nearby villages Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Upper and Lower Slaughter. The cottage itself is very charming and has a lot of character as well as modern facilities.
We had a lovely time at the cottage!
