We booked the apartment, with family, for a long weekend over Easter whilst attending a wedding nearby. The apartment was even nicer than the photos suggest, with plenty of space and wonderful views across the channel with beautiful sunsets in the evening if the weather plays ball. The only real amenities in the local vicinity if the Rest Bay Cafe which looks nice but we didn't go there so cannot vouch for the standard of food and drink on offer. Porthcawl by car is minutes away. We really loved our time at Rest Bay. Being able to walk along the coast on the paved paths with a pram was lovely. There were lots of dog walkers and families there across the weekend and lots of people surfing in the sea too. The master bedroom on the upper floor overlooks the main living space which is lovely but neither the master bedroom glazing nor the living room windows have blinds. If you need it dark to sleep then pack a sleep mask! The host Tim was very responsive and helpful throughout.

This is our second time staying at Tim's apartment. We love coming to Rest Bay as a family and spend most of our time walking on the beach or in the water surfing and body boarding. Being able to come back to such a beautiful flat, get warm, and then sit enjoying the view is such a treat. The apartment was as clean, tidy, comfortable, well equipped, and stylish as before. We noted that there was much more space available in the cupboards, which has been picked up from previous reviews I guess. Shows just how responsive and great a host Tim is. We are already considering when we will be back. :-)

Fab apartment , views over the golf course and bay especially good as we had nice weather. Only negative would be directions / signage to the apartment, we were lucky enough to find helpful person staying in a different part of the development who walked us to our apartment otherwise top class overall

Second time here. Lovely location and views. We only stayed a few days but the quality of the apartment makes it feel like a holiday, even when the Welsh weather isn’t behaving.
