Had a wonderful three weeks here. Danny was extremely helpful and the apartment was very well equipped- loved the sea view from the window and enjoyed watching the fox that visited a few times from the bedroom window. Would highly recommend this place to others.
Felt like home. Right on the beach. Was well stocked with everything you would need and the welcome drink and biscuits was appreciated. For the price I paid couldn't be better. Just be aware although there is parking at the property none of it is assigned to the apartment (although there is on street parking just outside that costs £2 over night from 6 and I had the all island permit anyway.
our choice of accommodation Adelaide apartments was good if you do not have car it is a short walk distance to the town but it is a very steep uphill climb winter months local shuttle does not run there are other restaurants nearby winter months most amenities are closed great bus service to other parts of island
This apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed, and was in a great position, with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. It was very comfortable. Lack of parking was only a minor problem. In Oct there was plenty of parking (although you had to pay). We found a place on the street about 5 mins walk away. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants (and entertainment for kids) plus a fab beach. Would definitely visit again.
Location was great, helped that we had a disabled blue badge for parking right outside along the seafront! Loading area available for packing/unpacking. Apartment was in great condition, with a couple of nice little extras! Plenty of towels :). Read the instructions for the cooker in the blue folder :). Had two teens in tow, and they were happy to swim or walk to the arcades when we went out doing other things! Walkable to a really good/reasonably priced Steamer Inn/Fisherman’s cottage. Swim shoes advised on the immediate beach as a little rocky when in. Would highly recommend!! Thanks to Danny our great host 😊😊😊
