Pros: Great location, walk to town. Fresh eggs, lemons, bacon, milk supplied. Most beds comfortable with linen bedding. Friendly host, great communication. Cons: For a house that can sleep 10 people, it had a very small living space and only 1 bathroom and toilet. There was only 1 tiny TV. House and garden is in need of some general maintenance. A/C in living room not working. Dirty kitchen bench tops and table. Bathroom was also in need of a good clean. General dust, cobwebs, dead bugs etc. Minimal outdoor furniture / seating.

If I could give Innisfail a 6 star rating I would. A house with beautiful old world charm in a great location and Max is the perfect host.

Innisfail is a grand old lady full of charm. She is as you would expect, a little noisy, creaky and dusty but very comfortable. Perfect location within walking distance to IGA and places to eat. Max was friendly and informative and got the important things right: quality linens, comfy beds, excellent vinyls and plenty of coffee!

We loved Max’s place! He was so welcoming and friendly. The location could not get better and the place had everything we could need.

Max is a delightful host. A quirky place to stay and with 10 staying in mid winter we were unable to spread out and use the more open spaces available outside. Inside became quite cramped especially at dinner time. I’m sure Max has plans to improve some of the ventilation issues and perhaps to add an extra toilet!
