Really quiet area, close to the train station. Not far from local walking spots, all within 30-60 mins drive. Lovely little towns/villages, everyone really pleasant

I have to say, it definitely looks better in person then the photos, originally it looked like a nice place to stay and good base for exploration… but it is for sure a fantastically unique base of operation, for your holiday. A short walk and even shorter drive, from the beach, which also has a nice little cafe; it’s near local pubs to visit, it’s right next to the train station, it’s 15 or so minutes from Whitehaven where there is even more to do and see as well as get your shopping. Within an hour or so of pretty much everything worth seeing. It’s also dog friendly so when we return, we will make use of that. The bathroom has a heated floor, the shower is easy to use, the kitchen is good enough for any light and moderate cooking, TV’s in the living & bed room as well as a very comfy bed. It really is worth a booking, without a doubt.

Peaceful and tranquil stay in the charming village of St Bees which is on the coast and at the edge of the Lake District so lots of beautiful walks nearby. We stayed over New Year. The cottage is well equipped with excellent kitchen facilities and everything you need for a quiet getaway.

The holiday cottage was lovely and the host that explained how to check in was friendly and welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed and was right in the heart of St bees a five min walk from the beach. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we would highly recommend.

Lovely little studio flat in a good location. Very clean and well kept, furnished to a high standard. Hosts were very amenable and helpful. Would stay again!
