We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it but some things to be aware of Pros: Really homely and cosy feel, warm despite cold weather, comfy beds Very spacious Responsive and helpful hosts Great location for exploring Kent Access to washer / dryer really useful Things to note: WiFi not quick enough for video calls (had to travel to local services for a working from home day) Bathrooms functional but low water pressure Signs of mice in lounge/ kitchen area (the hosts put down bait but we saw more signs of mice after that)

Mooie en rustige locatie, maar verschillende mankementen in de woning. Keukenkraan staat los, braadpan niet meer te gebruiken wegens volledig verbogen, slecht werkende koffiezet( geen gebruiksaanwijzing te vinden), defect aan lavabo in één van de kamers, vuil en versleten tuinmeubilair.

The cottage is on the owners land, there is one cottage with two accommodations in and then a barn. It's very safe for children and dogs (dogs need to be kept on a lead), the property is walled and gated so feels very secure, we stayed in Kingfisher Oast, which had everything we needed (kids loved the PS4, but do bring some kid friendly movies/games. The cottage needs a little bit of attention here and there but has everything we needed and was very clean, tip - take a cafetière if you are a coffee drinker as there are no filters provided for coffee, very pretty gardens with pool table and ping pong, adequate BBQ and parking for two cars, the pool is beautiful. The pool is shared but we basically had it to ourselves most of our stay. Owners answers queries promptly, we didn't see them at all for the 5 days, as much as it was nice to be left alone I think just a brief welcome would have been nice to make us feel a little more comfortable on their estate. Overall great place to stay.

Ein sehr schönes und liebes Cottage, das sehr gut gelegen ist. Es ist auch wunderbar ruhig. Es gibt 2 sehr gute pubs, die man in ca. 15 Gehminuten erreicht. Man sollte jedoch wissen, dass der Check-in über eine Schlüsselbox erfolgt und nicht - wie im Inserat beschrieben - über einen Angestellten im Haus! Daher ist der Erhalt der beiden Codes entscheidend und wichtig!
