This was the getaway the family needed. Even did an easter egg hunt with "Grown" kids! Phillip was an Amazing host!

Wow! Authentic castle, I felt like I was living in a fairy-tale. After back packing in Europe for a month this was like being back there again. I loved everything about out stay. The host was awesome and the castle had very peaceful surroundings. We will definetly be visiting again.

Although the pictures are charming, when we arrived the property is in need of repairs and maintenance. The inside wasn't clean the couches and bedding showed stains and did not smell clean. We paid for 2 nights but left after the first night, we couldn't really stay the second night due to the items not working, coffee maker, no towels they were in the dryer wet because the dryer didn't work, new TV with no reception at all, no WIFI in the castle only in the back building, the grounds are a mess with tools and junk all over the back yard, also the A/C's upstairs don't work well the change filter light was on, the microwave was disgusting and dirty but Philip sent someone to clean it. Phillip said he would replace coffee maker but never did. I could be a nice place if some work went into this place and make it more inviting. We were glad to get back home after this unpleasant trip.

The guest shower and sink are broken. All the towels were wet in both the washer and dryer and smelt like mold. There's was trash when we arrived in each room. Very dusty. Dirty dishes left behind. Why am I paying a cleaning fee if isn't gonna be clean on arrival. Besides that the place was decent. If you looking for a beautiful castle view and a grande adventure this isn't the place. if you're looking for a quick get away to just relax with friends it's a good spot. A/C worker well, wifi only works in the guest house. Main bed was very comfortable.

the place is nice! its more of a movie making place than a vacation place.
