This was the absolutely amazing state I loved that it was out in nature but close enough to go to town and get Mexican food/bbq/coffee. It’s was perfect for going to the national parks. The hosts even came down and showed me around both the apartment and the attached shop and how to work everything. They even showed me maps of the parks they had and gave great recommendations on hikes to take. Most of all I appreciate how the hosts look out for me while I was there. I travel and hike solo often and take a lot of precautions but they reached out and asked if I’d leave my hiking plan on notes in the room just in case I didn’t make it back or something happens to me they would know where to look. They themselves are apart of the search and rescue efforts in the area. It felt very much like having a parent or a grandparent keeping an eye out for me. It made me feel extremely safe.

Gorgeous property! And incredibly welcomed by Steve, he gave us a personal tour and great tips for visiting Sitting Bull Falls! Loved the fully stocked kitchen , comfy bed & outdoor patio. Wish we could have stayed longer. Awesome place to stay if you want to feel in nature as well as visiting: sitting bulls falls, Carlsbad caverns, Guadalupe mountain national park & Lincoln national forest.

Amazing stay, was able to relax and unwind. Amenities were clean and everything worked, amazing host with a lot of knowledge of the area.
