I was delighted with my stay at Issmails place😁 Issmail and Karim were so hospitable and helpful with advice; the little hotel and the room was spotlessly clean; clean hallways, room, hot shower, clean sheets and blankets; it was right in the middle of town, next to shops and cafés and restaurants- and a little ‘souk’ where you could buy local foods and handicrafts. Moroccan people are so friendly and welcoming- full of smiles and warm greetings- I can’t wait to go back! On Issmails and Karims recommendations, I got taxis to the bus depot, and took buses out to the desert and other exploratory places. Everything is so cheap- taxis cost maximum £4 (50 dirhams), - less if they pick up someone else), and the buses to other towns cost about £3 (30 dirhams) for a two-hour journey. I definitely recommend the Atlas Hotel- I paid £16 per night- it’s a travellers hotel, but it’s clean and safe- I definitely want to go back! Thank you Issmail and Karim! Best wishes!

Petit hotel, chambre plutot vétuste, salle de bain d'un autre age bien que propre. Hote sympathique et réactif. Ce n'est certainement pas le meilleur rapport qualité prix du Maroc, sachant que OUARZAZATE semble être plus cher qu'AGADIR à la mêmme période.

Ideally located for the town. Everything is walkable from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat locally, plenty of shops to browse if thats your thing and its near the cultural centre where you can sit at an eatery and watch any entertainment taking place in the square. The host is friendly and attentive and happy to help. The rooms are basic but comfortable with a hot shower. The airport is a 5 dirham drive away by taxi. Ouarzazate is a friendly place and i can recommend the hotel whether for a quick stay or longer duration.
