Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Haus von Tom. Wir waren als Familie dort und wurden bei der Ankunft herzlich von Tom und seiner Frau empfangen. Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, auch der Aussenbereich war mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns wohl. Man hatte gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, mit dem Bus oder Auto in 45 min in Göteborg oder in 10 Min auf der schönen Insel Marstrand. Wir können Tom als Gastgeber sein Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal

We spent two weeks in this lovely home. The house is very cozy and perfect for a stay with family. We loved the beautiful flower arrangements in every room. We spent a lot of time in the garden and made use of the different relaxing areas. Very beautiful! The beach is a five minute walk away and has different bathing spots. Tjuvkil is close to Marstrand and numerous nature reserves, which makes this region the perfect place to hike. Kerstin and Tom are super friendly and helpful hosts. They helped us find the perfect golf course and even arranged the best greenfee. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome by Tom and his wife. They gave us an extensive tour of the house and even how we can get to the sea. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable. You have everything you need: coffee machine, kettle, oven, microwave (in the annex building), TV, dishwasher and even a washing machine and dryer. There were even fresh flowers on the table for us. And important for a family with two teenagers: the wifi is good:). It is decorated with love and because of this you really feel at home. The most impressive about the house is the many seating areas there are in the garden (we counted 7!) ranging from a dining table to a lounge set and hammock, either in the sun or in the shade. We choose this location for being relatively close to shops/city but also near the sea/in the nature. In Kungälv (15-20 min drive) there is a new shopping mall including a supermarket and a food hall with good food. To Göteborg it is about 35 min drive. At the sea side (few minutes walk) there is a well maintained bathing area (grass & rocks). You can either jump off the jetty or "walk" into the sea; for this purpose a walking mat has been laid out from the shore (very comfortable!). You do not have to go far to enjoy the beautiful views of the islands on the west coast. It is only about 10 drive to Marstrand. We enjoyed walks on the islands of Koön and Skräddarön. But also took a tour to Skärhamn and Klädesholmen. The brigde towards Tjörn gives you nice view. While we enjoyed the house with its garden and terrace (to read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee), the surroundings and views, our kids enjoyed the visit to Göteborg, to Liseberg, the shopping, the swimming ánd the hamburgers at the MAX restaurant (and honestly those hamburgers are so much better than McDonalds that even we enjoyed them) I can really recommend this house for a nice stay at the west coast of Sweden.

Vi hade mycket trevlig vecka! Huset var fräsch och fint inrett med alla bekvämligheter. Lika fin som på bilden. Lugnt område med väldigt nära till havet med klippor och brygga. Tom och Kerstin var superbra värdar. Toppbetyg till både värd och boende.
