Our stay in this beautiful room on the top floor of a wonderful home in a happening neighborhood was fantastic. The room was larger than we imagined, the 4 poster bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom and tub a welcome site after a long day of walking. Kathleen had so many extra touch goodies in the refrigerator and welcomed us with a thoughtful bottle of wine for our anniversary. She checked in with us upon our arrival to make sure we got in ok. We were there on a weekend into the week - no noise at all despite the very upbeat neighborhood a block away where things were really happening and every kind of restaurant you could want. Trader Joe's was close by, and Wydown Café had the best breakfast biscuits. We also enjoyed great jazz at Jojo's. The green line to L'Enfant Plaza then to the airport greatly reduced the cost of getting to the airport and it was SOOOOO easy. Same platform. I could go on and on.....we are already planning our next trip back to DC and stay here.

We had a wonderful time at Cardozo Guesthouse. The room was exactly as described and Kathleen was always quick to respond to any question we had. She also checked on us to make sure everything was OK during our stay. Location was fantastic with great restaurants for breakfast or dinner just a short walk away. The nearby Metro station and bus route were also incredibly convenient for all the sites we visited. The neighborhood itself was also quite enjoyable to just walk around. We're so happy we decided to stay here and would definitely recommend it!
