Overall happy with my stay Host Samantha was responsive, proactive and responsible. Recommended places to go and was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and beyond (was even able to suggest safer cycling routes for me). House was also clean and well organized. my single room had enough space for me including a clothing rack. Bed was comfortable enough, Aircon worked well. toilet had hot water but the hot water was slightly intermittent. Her house is after a steep hill and on the 4th floor without a lift so it may be problematic for the elderly or less physically able. However it was a 5min walk from the train station and 3min from one of many 7-11s so I felt the location was good. Main issue for me was lack of WIFI and shared bathroom both of which are already described in the listing, and I feel at this price point is certainly not unreasonable. It was a cycling trip for me and I feel Bitan is a good base to cycle up to pinglin and also wulai/fushan

For my first time AirBnB as well as visiting Taipei, this place was simple and perfect for my trip. The pricing was terrific. Sam my host was excellent with providing detailed instructions for check in, and super friendly too. The bedroom is part of a shared apartment and shared bathroom, with it's own air conditioning in the room. It felt homey already with the nice window view, desk and shelves. Bed was comfortable. I also felt very safe, since it's part of a gated community complex, and has multiple keys for the building and unit. It's good to note that it's on a hill and doesn't have elevator, so for heavy luggage be prepared to taxi. For a weeks' stay, this place had all I needed, includes kitchen and laundry, and is a short walk to 7-eleven. It's super close to the metro from here, even on the edge of the city. I would love to have an opportunity to come to a place like this again and follow travel recommendations from a great host and guide like Sam.

Ich habe 10 Tage bei Samantha verbracht - und es war wunderbar. Samantha ist eine herzliche und aktive Person, die sich gerne Zeit für dich nimmt und dir bei deinen Ausflügen Tipp gibt. Bei ihr zu sein, war wie ein kleines Zuhause in Taipei zu haben. Sehr einfach zu erreichen mit der MRT Station. Samantha als Gastgeberin und ihr Zuhause kann ich allen empfehlen! :-) Viel Spass in Taipei!
