I stayed at Michelle’s place alone after reading reviews that other women felt safe there however I genuinely questioned the authenticity of other reviews after arriving at the location. The building is located on a quiet dead end with just rooms, no reception or anything. The door to the room and the lock on the door was very flimsy, I didn’t feel safe at all and had to push my bed behind the door before sleeping. The walls are super thin, I could literally hear the person in the next room turning in bed or typing on the phone, which was super uncomfortable. Imagine sleeping in the next room to someone who snores which was also the case for me😄 In addition, I know for a fact that the shared bathroom is not cleaned daily as when I arrived it was clean, but then someone stained it and it was still there two days after when I was leaving. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Before I arrived here, I hesitated because it was my first Airbnb as a solo woman. 🏡 However, I felt %💯 safe and secure. The room was like the same as described but better. 🤝 Michelle’s communication skills are amazing. 👌 She really cares of her guests. She helped me a lot when I requested something. There is a great garden. So the room has an amazing view in fall with 🍁 🐿️ 🦅 The bathroom was clean and you only share with another person. The area is nice, only one bus to the city centre. Also, if you like international food or Turkish food, there is an amazing grocery market, Istanbul Supermarket, in 7 mins walking distance.🥫 There is no kitchen but the refrigerator, kettle and microwave, all of them inside of the room, is well enough to cook and eat/drink something. Also, there are some plates, forks etc. 🍽️ Summing it up – my stay was beyond amazing. Big shoutout to Michelle! I’m extending my stay and absolutely recommending this spot to my fam and friends. Thanks a bunch! 🤗 🙌
