Rich and Ruby were great to communicate with. Very friendly and responded quickly. The house's location is great--it's in a nice neighborhood and has privacy but isn't far from many restaurants, beaches, and other attractions. There was always a parking spot available for my car--and that's not common for a lot of places in San Diego! The kitchen is well equipped, and appliances work well. The front room has a couch that turns into a bed and a work desk. The bedroom has a lot of storage space, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom was nice and free of mold/mildew. At night in the bedroom, sometimes I could hear people or a dog walking in the upstairs unit or a train going by somewhere outside or other outside sounds. I only mention this for people who are really light sleepers like I am. My friend, who slept on the sleeper couch, didn't notice the sounds and slept well. Overall, my friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Airbnb. I recommend it.

We spent a month at Rich and Ruby's place and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen was better stocked than our own. The apartment was large and anything we needed was available. The location was perfect for our needs as we mostly used public transportation and there were alot of nice restaurants within a few blocks. Their home is located down a quiet, private street and we enjoyed meeting friendly neighbors. It really did feel like home and would definitely recommend anyone traveling to San Diego to take advantage of Rich and Ruby's kindness and their lovely apartment.

Great location, 2 short blocks from international restaurant row, quick access to the 5 freeway and Little Italy. Space is up to date, clean and conveniently stocked. Very nice shower too!

This place was extremely peaceful, serene environment. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked although I didnt need any of the items. The key to finding location— FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. There was an issue with the heater first night- However, it was resolved shortly after. In addition, I left my computer accidentally within 30 minutes I was notified and returned. Great location too… Im really happy I didn’t stay downtown— I will definitely book this spot again. Added bonus, great area to walk and neighborhood is friendly

We know and love the area so we booked the apartment as it is convenient for us to get anywhere we need to. It is a very walkable area with several restaurants and bars nearby. Rich and Ruby are a delightful couple and along with their dogs, made us feel right at home. We initially stayed here for a week, travelled to Arizona for a few days then returned for 9 days and it felt as if we were 'coming home'. The facilities are very good, comfy bed, comfy sofa, good shower and it is in a lovely little tucked away location. We are already planning our return and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
