Fun thanksgiving trip away from home. We cooked a full thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were cozy, dog was happy roaming the enclosed area and you won’t find a better view!

I stayed here for a week and teleworked when I was there. The river view and sounds are unbeatable. The trees covered in moss, the bird sounds and the cool foresty breeze, all were very special. Here are some main notes - 1. The driveway is in poor shape. Four wheel drive needed even if not winter. It is a bit risky to even walk on it with the loose gravel. 2. It is a cabin and has all the cozy vibes. That’s great for a weekend getaway but the strong mildewy smell can be a bit overwhelming. Once back home, it’s still not gone from my washed clothes. 3. The kitchen is well stocked, different oils. But for the price, the linens were cheap synthetic stuff. I had to get myself some new sheets from target. 4. Erika was extremely helpful as I had forgotten my monitor power cable and gave local suggestions. It is good to have an office chair but the desks were too small for teleworking setup. 5. Wall heaters were very helpful to have. A beautiful place to disconnect while close to town.
