Serenity says it all — such a peaceful place to be, yet easy drive to Mona Great Bonus to be able to walk to Stefano Lubiano wines for lunch.

I’ve just stayed only 2 nights tho I’d like to stay longer next time. There is a beautiful mountain and river view from the accommodation which is very clean and warm house made of wood. And also it’s really good place to go to mount Field or Hobart!

The house was clean and comfortable inside with good amenities - although no coffee pods provided. Lots of beautiful wood finishings and a lovely view of the Derwent. Close to Hobart but you will need to drive or Uber. The inside of the house is comfortable, but the yard is not great for hanging out in and there are a lot of bull ants which make their way to the deck each arvo. However, our stay was significantly dampened by the owners son and his girlfriend rocking up and staying for two nights of our stay in the loft above the garage - this loft had huge windows which looked directly onto our deck. As the listing stated we had the whole property, we were very upset by this, especially as we were given no warning or compensation. The main reason we chose this house was for its privacy. The manager didn’t really seem to think this was a big deal, but for me and my family who had planned and saved for this trip, I was not impressed.
