Beautiful accomodation with exceptional garden and surrounding natural landscape. Very private and secluded. Really friendly as well as helpful host and staff so we felt we were looked after so well. School next door was audible but wasn't to the point of being an issue for us and easily masked by the fountain at the pool. if you're a light sleeper maybe take eye mask for the morning light and/or earplugs for the school next door. If we came back to Bali we would look to try and stay here again.

Sheila’s place is amazing. Surrounded by the jungle, a beautiful traditional house with modern comfort. Very private and lots of outdoor space to relax. While the ground floor is open, the bedroom on the 1st floor is closed so no insects can get in. 2 remarks: the kitchen is not for cooking food, there is only a sink. And the ground floor sealing has wooden beams at 1.85m height, so if your like me (2m) then you’ll have to be careful not to hit your head.

It's extremely gorgeous and we were shocked by how much like the pictures it looked. The home and the area outside has a lot of character. Nyoman was extremely helpful throughout the stay. Keep in mind though you're in an old home built forever ago. There are mosquitoes and ants on the property (not in the bedroom or living areas but outside). The hot water will run out on you in 5-8 minutes. The ceilings especially in the attached bathroom and at the home entrance are low. If you're 6ft or under you can walk about comfortably except at the entrance and the attached bathroom. If you're over 6ft tall, good luck! To do most activities or grab good food, you will need to hire a driver. All that said, that's to be expected for the experience of living in a beautiful place with the sense you're in the middle of nowhere. Well worth it in my opinion.

Batak legacy was the most amazing stay. If you want to get away from the business of Bali this is the perfect location. You have a lot of waterfalls you can drive to and rice fields. Lovina dolphin watching is a little over an hour away. The cabin was beautiful and the outdoor space felt magical. The caretakers that cleaned and made breakfast every day were amazing. They were so caring and welcoming.
