This place is a lovely quiet place along the beach and the host is a super wonderful lady. The place is also very well kept. However, you can avoid this place incase you feel really hot and humid as there is lot of voltage fluctuations and the air conditioner does not work efficiently during the daytime. We struggled with the same. At night, it was working fine. As its a shared washroom, we did face slight issues in terms of the hygiene as the other room people kept it occupied most of the times. Apart from these two issues, everything about the place is great. If you love nature and want to live amidst it, it can be your go to place :)

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quiet and peace in Pondicherry. It was so peaceful and green. It was exactly what I was looking for. Since it's very near to the beach, you can access it anytime, but to be honest, I never felt like leaving the place. The kitchen is well equipped to cook some quick meals. This place just made me very happy. Her cats also gave me company and the whole experience was therapeutic. Helena was such a lovely host, her instructions to reach the place were perfect and she had listed down quite a few things for me to do around Pondicherry and Auroville which came in handy throughout.

Séjour parfait chez Helena. Endroit au calme et proche de la nature. Le logement est spacieux et dispose de tout confort nécessaire. Les visites ponctuelles du chat familial ne fait qu’améliorer l’expérience.

Helena was not only a great host, she soon became a friend i could just speak to. She & her family was adorable. It was just the kind of peaceful stay i wanted as a traveller. The beach was just behind the place with a pretty private community access, what more can one ask for? This place was for the travellers who respect the environment & want to experience a minimalistic lifestyle. If you need luxury stay then this place is not for you! But if there is any soul searching that you crave or want to be in your own space, go stay right there & u'll definitely love this cosy little home away from home.
