My family stayed for three nights as we had a wedding nearby. The standout benefit of Kingsdown is the family atmosphere and facilities. We had a swim session in the large pool house. The kids loved the freedom of scooting around the park and playground. The events are organised by the owners and although we didn;t get to attend one, I'm sure the kids would have enjoyed it. The beach and 3 local pubs (all serving food) are within walking distance. Unfortunately, we didn't see the fish and chip van or the coffee van serving pastries etc. That would have been an added bonus. Deal is less than 10 min drive and has more restaurants to choose from. The chalets are small and cosy. It had everything you could need in the way of utensils, pans and plates, cutlery, glasses etc. We'd definitely come back...

Overall we had a great time! The scenery was amazing. The food at Zetland Pub was amazing. Communication so great and thorough. Kids loved the pool! Was easy to book in. The park was nice. The mini golf and tennis courts were not free as advertised. The kettle was not clean and packed with limescale. Brought up issues to host and were resolved asap! 5 stars on communication!

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The location is perfect, and it's lovely being able to see the sea from the bedroom window. The beach is a short walk away, with a fantastic pub and nice walks in every direction to Deal etc. The grounds are immaculate and the swimming pool was lovely and warm and also really clean. The actual chalet is a little tired. It seemed to be pretty clean, but the bathroom and kitchen are quite old. The toilet seat could do with being replaced and new sofas and cushions would really help to freshen the place up. There was a funny smell when we arrived, but I think that was because it had been shut up for so long and had not been aired. we opened up all the windows which helped. The kitchen was very well equipped and the towels were lovely and clean and fluffy. The bedrooms were really nice and cosy. We had trouble getting the tele to work but the host rectified this instantly, so fab communication!

Great place to stay, lots to do and area is so nice. Wish I booked for longer!
