1. The stair is super sketchy, not recommended for elderly 2. Host’s dad is the one who manage the house but keep asking us to speak Mandarin, he can communicate in English fluently. 3. I ask the host for check in method 4 time and he never responds to me. But he keep sending me other msg like the check in time etc 4. Host said we can check in at 3 but the house was ready at 5:30pm without any explanations Overall is still a good place, but the communication with the host and his dad can be definitely improve, not recommended for someone who don’t speak Mandarin (luckily my friend know the basic)

We had a fantastic two-day workshop at Joanie's place. The location, despite being close to Vancouver, offered a charming countryside ambiance that we truly enjoyed. The morning walks in the beautiful yard added a refreshing touch to our experience. The facilities and bedding provided were impeccably clean and cozy, ensuring that we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Joanie proved to be an exceptional host, going above and beyond to provide us with detailed information and instructions prior to our arrival. Her attentiveness made our stay convenient and hassle-free. We are looking forward to hosting our next group workshop at Joanie's place in the future. It was an absolute delight.

One of the best AirBnB experiences I've had. We used the space to throw our friend a surprise birthday party and it couldn't have been better. The space is perfect for large groups. There is a large, private patio as well as an enclosed solarium- both are perfect for catching up with friends and enjoying the surrounding privacy. Joanie was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to accommodate us and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a secluded getaway to celebrate with a large group, this is it. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Alouette Lake is also close by and makes for a great day trip- just be sure to register/reserve your parking as they require it for entry in the summer months. Thanks for an incredible weekend Joanie and Jack!
