Incredible place in an unbeatable location. The treatment by Darius has been excellent and we have felt at home. We will come back!

Darius's place is really lovely, very spacious, clean and quiet (except for some dogs barking outside which you should get used to in Lithuania, especially in villages and suburbs!). You can see some beautiful and relaxing views of the lake as well. This place is actually a separate flat situated on the first floor of a detached house. It has got its own entrance and is a completely separate unit. There is plenty of parking close to the house and the nearest supermarket, pharmacy and even a restaurant are all in one place, not even 10-minute walk away. The flat is located further away from the Trakai Castle (app. 50 min on foot or you can rent an electric scooter which you can always find somewhere at the end of the road). We came to rest here and visit Užutrakis and the Hill of Angels which were both very quiet in September but still lovely and it was easy to get around by car. We only stayed in Darius’s place for 2 nights but I can easily imagine long-term stays here; there is a great kitchen, a comfy bed and a cosy living room that make this place perfect for that. Darius’s communication was great and he met us at the door when we arrived. The check-out was also very easy. There is a pillow fee in Trakai which is charged separately (0.6 euro cents per night per person) so do not forget to bring some cash with you. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who does not mind staying away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
