The home is just beautiful with a large layout. We had 15 during most of our stay and we never felt The private beach is large and gave the 7 children plenty of room to play. We used the kayaks and paddleboard and the paddle boat for the kids was the big hit. Many items were available (too many to list), floating toys, fishing gear, canoe, rowboat, games, pool table, washer and two dryers, etc. The pontoon boat was available for rent. The kitchen was well appointed and we really didn’t need to bring anything except food. The home felt clean and the owner was easily accessible and responsive to our needs. Stores for supplies were close by. Beautiful lake!

Wonderful relaxed place in a beautiful setting! Great dock and beach area for the kids and adults. Lots of water toys to enjoy. True Up North spot (Michiganders will know what that means). Mornings at the end of the dock are interrupted only by an occasional car (must be going to work) and the call of the loons. A local told me there are 4 pairs this year. Common areas are perfect. Thank you!

Our stay was great. Considering we had 4 children 5 & under with us. John was very polite on the phone since this was my first time booking with Airbnb I did not know what to expect. The power had gone out & John was calling the Electric Co. as soon as we had texted him. This is a great house plenty of room for many guests. Definitely would recommend to others looking for sinew to stay in the area.

We had family from all over the country gathering for a memorial service. It was so nice to be able to be together in one place. Everyone spoke in superlatives.. beautiful location, lots of room, and comfortable beds. John, our host contacted me before, after, and during our stay to be sure we were comfortable and all was going smoothly. The $1,000/night price is compararable to individual hotel rooms for the number of people that can be accomodated; a great deal. I can't say enough about how much this stay meant to my family.

Me and a group of 20 friends moved locations for our annual ski trip and ended up staying here. It was only about a 15 minute drive to Shanty Creek ski resort and much more accommodating for a large group rather than staying on the resort. There was plenty of space for sleeping for everyone and the basement provided a great place to hangout. Overall we had a great experience and will gladly be going back!
