Isn't it a dream of yours to run barefoot to the Aegean Sea as soon as you get out of your bed in the morning? Make your dream come true! A beachfront house in Platys Gialos Bay, the most beautiful and cosmopolitan beach of Sifnos island. A modern cycladic decorated house just 10 steps away from the beach! Our top priority is to make you feel safe, comfortable and like home! Located right on the beach, fully equipped with all necessary amenities, linens, electric equipment, beach towels, sunbeds, umbrellas. Two entrances, one from the back and one from the yard directly from the beach. Ground floor Two double bedded bedrooms on the ground floor sharing a bathroom (washing machine inside), an open-space living room along with the fully equipped kitchen area. On the same level is the front yard with an outdoor shower and a dining table, where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner, drink even sunbathing. 1st floor On the 1st floor there is the 3rd master bedroom with its own bathroom and sea view balcony. Televisions (Smart TVs including Netflix streaming) available in all bedrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have heating units, all the rest areas have ceiling fans. The house sleeps 6 adults in bedrooms. The interior space of the house is 102 square meters. Wi-Fi in all areas of the house is offered for free. Transfer from / to the port by VIP mini van is offered free of charge. Daily cleaning service. Change of linen / towels every 3 nights.

Absolutely incredible! Remarkably polished and pristine house set in an even more remarkable landscape. Steps from the beach. Ample amenities and goodies provided for all 6 of us. Our host (Mara) was very responsive and eager to share tips and recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. We had a bit of trouble finding the place, but Mara was patient and calm when providing directions. Our group of 6 agreed that we would have stayed at this house for weeks if we had the time. Easily one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Raises the bar for all others.

Mara was so lovely! The pickup and drop off at the port was such an amazing bonus and it really elevated our experience. The house was clean and cute, everything worked well. The beach chairs and umbrellas as well as being so close to the gorgeous sandy beach made for an absolutely great trip. Also the flexibility to allow for a late checkout when our ferry wasn’t until 6pm was so wonderful. Hope to get to come back again! Would 100% recommend to anyone.

We loved this place! The location can’t be beat! It was very clean and well stocked with everything we might need. Mara was available anytime we needed her. So grateful for this great place to stay while we were attending a wedding on the island.

Perfection! Our stay at Mara's place was possibly the best stay we've experienced. We were met off the ferry & transported to our gorgeous accommodation. The village of Platis Gialos is just fantastic. Great swimming beach & restaurants/tavernas all within metres. All our meals out were delicious, our favorites were Nus & Maiolica. We had a lovely housekeeper visit us daily which felt like total luxury. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Thoroughly recommend.

Platys Gialos is one of the largest beaches of Sifnos, as its name implies. For many years now it has been awarded with the Blue Flag from the European Union and is considered by many to be the most cosmopolitan beach on the island.
Platys Gialos stands out for the golden, fine sand all over the beach. Umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs cover only a small percentage of the area and there is also a partial shade, offered by the trees of the beach. There are changing rooms, showers and toilets and you can easily find restaurants and cafés along the beach, with tables beside the sea. In addition, there are grocery stores (mini-markets), ATMs, pottery workshops, water sports facilities and the Marina of Platys Gialos.
Local attractions include the White Tower 1.5 km northeast of the beach, one of the 77 ancient beacon towers (‘fryktories’) of the island and the best preserved.

Platys Gialos is easily accessible by car, motorbike, bus, boat.
Many hiking trails start from the village, heading towards Fikiada, Vathi, and the other central village settlements.
Opposite the beach of Platys Gialos is the uninhabited islet of Kitriani, with its solitary building, the church of the same name, Panagia Kitriani, the oldest church of Sifnos (10th-11th century).
