The place was amazing, with a gorgeous view. The house was clean and comfortable (and we were 10!). It is a pity that we could not use the pool (too early for the season) but overall we LOVED our stay. Suzan and Gianluca were extremely helpful and available to take care of all our needs. I truly recommend the stay!

Superbe maison en pierre rénovée et modernisée, spacieuse, très bien équipée (nombreuses salles de bain, 2 grands espaces cuisine avec tout le matériel pour cuisiner, beaucoup de vaisselle, etc.) et décorée, très agréable pour un groupe de 10 personnes. L'extérieur est magnifique (belle vue, jardin avec de jolies plantes) , très calme et très bien aménagé - grande piscine, grand barbecue et tables pour cuisiner, terrasse, canapés ombragés, transats, etc. Francesco était très disponible et sympa. Nous recommandons pleinement ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Talk about a view! Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. We spent the majority of our summer vacation in shaded outdoor area with the lounges overlooking the 180-degree jaw-dropping view that was the backdrop to the pool. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and each one is decorated differently with unique artwork and special details. The house is full of great art all around. Lots of small areas for small groups to break off and enjoy the spaces but the outdoor entertainment areas are where it's at. Great place for families with ping pong, bocce, croquet, and badminton for the kids in addition to the pool. There's beautiful trails down to the river on the property too. Our group of 14 had Marcela arrange a catered local lunch overlooking the hills for us. Slow roasted wild boar was the main attraction with a delicious ricotta and sage buttery ravioli. So amazing. We were served several courses with wine included at a very reasonable price. Well worth it if you stay! Marcela also arranged a private lunch for us in Savona at her friend's restaurant - we couldn't take advantage of it in the end but her local's tips were wonderful. We will definitely be returning to Il Casale. What a great place for a big group.

Bruno’s place was absolutely gorgeous. A gem in the small town of Saturnia. We fit 7 people comfortably with bathrooms in each room. We had the most breathtaking views of the rolling hills, had a fabulous local dinner and Michaela made us an outstanding breakfast in the morning. If you want to see the thermal baths, they are just a 5-10 minute drive from the villa. Beautiful!!

This place is breathtaking and even more beautiful than how it appears in the pictures. The hosts are extremely service minded and did their outmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Saturnia is only a short walk away with local butcher, grocery stores, wonderful restaurants and som charming shopping. We were a party of thirteen with kids from 2-15 years and all of them loved the house and especially the pool with its shallow parts for the youngest ones.
