We enjoyed enormously our stay. The house is very roomy, there are lots of sitting and eating areas, plenty of space for being together or retreating for privacy. It is definitely larger than it looks in the photos. It suits for being both outside if the weather permits as well as inside if it is raining and cold, as there is a fire place and via the big windows in the leaving room one feels still in the nature. The location is superb, one cannot stop looking out of the windows. Also easy to access many islands and Gothenburg by car (it feels though a pity to leave the house). The kitchen has everything one could wish. Electric grill on the terrace. Peter, who takes care of the guests and lives right next door, was very friendly and helpful, responding immediately to any question, even proactively contacting us. I cannot recommend the place enough, probably the best house we have ever rented on airbnb.

This is a lovely, spacious, extremely comfortable home in a stunningly beautiful setting, perfect for extended families. This was our second summer stay here. We had everything we needed for cooking big family meals and many seating areas inside and out. A crib and two highchairs were there for the two year old, plus all the linens and towels we could possibly need. Marianne even furnished bicycles and canoes when I asked about a place to rent these. She or her neighbor, Peter, who lives next door, answered all questions quickly. We made excursions by car to nearby attractions—Hönö, Ockerö, Marstrand, and Tjörn, and of course Gothenburg. We loved our time here, even though the weather was less than perfect!

Die Unterkunft von Marianne ist sehr schön. Super Lage und auch bei schlechtem Wetter sehr angenehm mit einem traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Kommunikation mit Marianne verlief reibungslos und bei fragen konnte sie uns sofort weiter helfen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Familienurlaub in einer traumhaften Unterkunft mit einem tollen Host. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This is a big plot of tranquility on the waters edge ; access to swim and crab fish constantly ! The house is catered for long dinners and BBQs and sitting relaxing , the furniture is stunning and it’s a well loved family home for up to 8 comfortably. Peter is on site in the cottage beside the house and is always on hand but also discrete . We found the area very quiet with not much activity to access beyond the islands and water so be prepared for bringing your own entertainment to keep kids busy! A trip to Gothenburg for a concert was easy with Uber from the house although the city was a little underwhelming and under construction in July 2023 so not lots to see. We would advise exploring north west coast small harbour towns to break up the holiday. Sweden is a holiday choice for those who love a ramble over rocks to quiet sun spots but take your Own picnic as there are very few cafes / coffee shops or places to stop ! We will be back to Scandinavia for sure 👌
