Myrto et sa sœur Maria nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et ont toujours été extrêmement réactives pour répondre à nos questions. Le logement est très bien situé dans le joli village de Kefalas avec une vue à 180° sur la mer depuis la grande terrasse et une des deux chambres. La maison est belle, spacieuse, propre et fonctionnelle. Elle offre en plus une place de parking fermée devant l'entrée. C'est l'endroit parfait pour passer des vacances paisibles en Crête. What an amazing place! The views to the sea were stunning. We went very late in the season (middle of November) but it was still warm enough to sit and have breakfast on the veranda. The bed was extremely comfy and the kitchen and living area spacious and has everything you need. The house is set back from the road and very peaceful. The village shop, just a short walk to the square, had everything we needed (including Gluten Free items which our Greek friend told us were hard to find here). Costas at the local pub was very welcoming and it's a great place to have coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We arrived late and couldn't work out how to make the lights work - our fault as we hadn't read Myrto's instructions properly. But she quickly responded to all our texts. We would highly recommend the place.

Das Haus liegt am Rand eines schönen Dorfes (mit Supermarkt und Tavernen) und hat eine große Terrasse, von der man einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer und die Nordküste entlang hat und auch den Sonnenaufgang schön beobachten kann. Mein Lieblingsplatz. Und selten war ich dort allein, immer wieder kam eine Katze vorbei. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, für den täglichen Bedarf ist alles vorhanden. Ich habe mich ab dem ersten Moment wie Zuhause gefühlt. Kefelas ist ein guter Standort, um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden. In den umliegenden Dörfern gibt es ein reichhaltiges Kulturangebote und schöne Wanderwege. Myrto ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Un vrai coin de paradis! Le séjour dans chez Myrto restera dans nos cœurs. Venus à l’occasion d’un stage dans la région, nous avions choisi d’élire domicile à Kefalas et nous ne l’avons pas regretté. La maison est un havre de paix et se trouve tout près de Vamos, village aussi charmant qu’animé. Non loin de belles plages, c’est aussi un bon point de départ pour des excursions vers Chania, Rethymnon… Un cadre idyllique pour des vacances dans les montagnes crétoises avec vue sur la mer. Merci à Myrto et à sa famille pour nous avoir fait profiter de leur maison et pour leur accueil fort sympathique.

A quiet beautiful little home onlooking the sea from the village of Kefalas. The house is very clean, with patio and deckchairs onlooking a sensational panoramic of the sea. Kefalas is such a peaceful place to rest and get away from the busier towns of Chania and Georgiopuli which can be more touristy. It has some authentic local restaurants with supermarkets only a 5 minute walk away from the house. Nearby there is also the idyllic village of Vamos which is worth a visit! The houses master bedroom was spacious, clean and had a comfy large bed. The living area was also homey with comfortable seating areas and fireplace, with an onlooking kitchen which was spacious and had everything you needed. The only thing I would say is outside the crickets can be quite noisy in the daytime, though after a while you get used to them and it becomes part of the aesthetic. I would definitely recommend this home to other travellers for peace and quiet, relaxation and easy access to the nearby beaches which are only a 20 minute drive away. I give this stay a double thumbs up!
