Incredibly grateful to not only have stayed here, but to have had the opportunity to have met both Jim and Theresa. Beautiful, quiet location, an immaculate home with a great history, and tremendous hosts! Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

The cottage was the perfect place for a short quiet get-away! It was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Theresa was very proactive and responsive and the cottage was incredibly well stocked with almost anything you could need. They also recognized it was our anniversary and left a bottle of wine, a few chocolates and a handwritten card- it was so thoughtful! We would highly recommend Jim and Theresa’s cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in the Chaska area!

My group absolutely loved this home. We met Jim and Theresa briefly and they were very friendly. Not only did the property have a beautiful walking trail, it also had a fantastic view of the leaves changing around us. Close enough to places like Twin Cities, Shokpaee and the main Chaska area. Far enough to feel like you are away from busy life. I was shocked at how comfy the couch pull out beds were. No metal bars or lumpy thin mattress. I will stay again in the future when we are in the area.

Accurately represented stay. Really enjoyed the grounds and the front porch! The hosts were great, and the kitchen was well equipped, the cottage and bathroom were very clean. Lots of thoughtful touches provided (even filtered drinking water cooled in the fridge!). Unfortunately, we could hear traffic from 212 during morning and afternoon commuting hours, and one morning before 7am there was heavy equipment operating directly across the street (loud back-up beepers sounding regularly that woke us and continued for quite some time). That was just one morning and may be an occasional occurrence, but there appears to be a dedicated work area there for loading dump trucks. The host was very available and communicative. Great place to relax.

We loved our stay at Jim and Theresa’s cottage! They were the most generous hosts, so friendly and responsive! The location of their place can’t be beat too—you’re far enough away that you feel like you’re in the peaceful countryside, yet still within a short driving distance of everything! The house is inviting and cozy, with so many thoughtful details that make you feel so welcome and at home.
