Great place to stay

The place was okay for what I paid. The pictures are definitely from when the place was a lot nicer and newer. There was some trash in the playground area that we found and a log of poop (dogs, I’m assuming) found in the family room behind one of the chair legs. The fire alarm sounding every time someone showered in the master bedroom was annoying. I suggest maybe moving that to another location. The lights in one of the rooms didn’t work, and most rooms had multiple lightbulbs out. Although we followed rules, the quiet time hours and rules pertaining to being inside past 10 was a little much. The “hot tub” isn’t a hot tub unless you order the ‘heating’ for the pool. I didnt know that, so that was a bummer. The door code didn’t work when we first got to the house, and the WiFi was unstable. I did love how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen eating area was nice and homey. The kitchen had most essential cooking and prep equipment for food. Alex was responsive to all my questions.

Overall this house was just OK. The pictures made it seem nicer than it actually was. The house needs some updates. There were many things broken and in need of repair. One room the ceiling fan didn't work, in another room the light didn't work. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty. The carpets were in need of a good cleaning. One thing that we really didn't like was there was no Ice maker in operation so we had to go out and buy Ice. There were 3 freezers but no ice maker. Not being able to be outside after 10pm was a bit ridiculous. I understand not being loud after 10pm but to not even be able to sit out back and have a cocktail was a bit strange. Overall the place worked for us. It was spacious and we had plenty of room for all our guests to have their own space. It could be a really nice house with some maintenance and updates and less rules.

Great communication with Alex. The only thing we did we did not realize was one of the bedrooms was not an actual bedroom but instead a large room at the top of the stairs with no privacy. The doors to some of the other bedrooms came off this room.

We stayed here for a week. It was a fantastic home with lots of space. The beds are comfy, the furniture was comfortable. We loved the backyard. We requested for the pool to be heated, and it was so warm and lovely! The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals during the week, and the location was close to great restaurants. Alex was a fantastic host, he was available and proactive with information.
