Welcome, Home - A Sweet Retreat! Our home has three bedrooms, two baths with a fantastic sunroom, and many windows. The space includes an ample lounging & dining area, plus a ventless fireplace. The main bathroom has recently been updated & has a shower & tub. The primary bedroom has a bathroom with a shower. Our home comfortably sleeps eight people, with two full-sized beds, two single beds, a pull-out sofa sleeper, & a Pack N Play. Guests can reach us by cell, call, or text message anytime. My home has many great memories! Here are a couple of my favorite memories. #1 Snow sledding at the big hit at the top of our street where the bank is. <3. #2. My Mom, brother, cousin & I arrived home late on Christmas Eve after visiting with my Aunt, Uncle to lock ourselves out. There we had to break a window to get into our own house. A now-fond memory we all remember, LOL! My home is perfect for hosting family gatherings. It allows families & friends to be in one spot, having meals and sharing family time. The deck offers dining and sitting space for relaxing, party patio lights for having family gatherings, playing a game of corn hole, having a cookout (gas grill + a backup propane tank), and a fire pit for outdoor fun; like roasting marshmallows and hotdogs! The home is also great for persons traveling for work who prefer to stay in a relaxing home environment. My home offers several gathering areas to watch TV, play board games, or just chat and put a jigsaw puzzle together. The house is located right in town, close to shopping and eateries. The current River recreational area is located approximately 40 minutes away. You can float down the river by kayak, tube, or canoe any time of the year. Mingo National Wildlife Refuge is only a 40-minute drive away. The refuge is a drive-through park with over 21,000 acres and is a significant migration and wintering area for migratory waterfowl. If you love to see wildlife, Mingo is the excellent place for that…! Expect to see ducks, geese, deer, wild turkeys, and perhaps a bald eagle.

We had an exceptional time staying at Karen’s Airbnb. The house was perfect for our stay. We loved relaxing in the added family room. The house was very clean & it felt like home. Karen was very prompt with answering any questions we had. We are already planning our return visit next year. Thank you Karen!
Karen was super responsive and helpful. Her house was perfect for our stay. We stayed at her house to see the total eclipse of the sun. We were able to walk right over to the hotel up the street and take the shuttle bus to the event at the high school. Her house was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sun room was our favorite spot as well as the outside deck. The beds were comfy, the house was clean and well-stocked with everything you could need, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay there again!

Great stay. Karen was great host. Good communication and the house was filled with special touches. Everything you could want was available. The sunroom was so comfortable and beautiful. Perfect place for families with videos, games, pet supplies and more. She even has a freestanding ice maker which was a huge plus as we were traveling 2-3 hours every day. The beds we’re comfortable, everything was clean and well stocked. While we were here for business, We will absolutely make a pleasure trip and stay here again sometime. One of our favorite stays:)

Our home is located on a quiet street within the city limits of Poplar Bluff. The home is close to many retail, restaurants & grocery stores.
One of the nice things about Poplar Bluff is that everything is close by! There are no long drives to get anywhere in this town.

I grew up in Poplar Bluff and this home was built by my dad for our family. Mom had the sunroom added much later. She wanted the sunroom to have lots of windows and she wanted a large deck for family gatherings having a cookout, or just hanging out enjoying the space.
