We loved our stay here. The efficiency had everything we needed for a four night stay and, as we got our bearings in Amsterdam, we appreciated the location more and more. Communication was great and the whole experience was positive. Finally, I think we slept better on the bed at the efficiency than we do on our bed at home. We wanted to take it with us, but…too big for the carry-on baggage 😊.
This is one of the gold standards in communication on Airbnb in my experience. Elizabeth and her team left nothing for us to try to understand or figure out as communication prior, during and after was perfect. The property is in a great neighborhood on the ground floor, and the room was what we wanted as we would not be spending much time inside and didn’t need much in the way of over the top amenities. You’re in Amsterdam, who hangs out inside!
Everything was so nice! The neighbourhood is awesome. Wonderful host with lots of useful info. Definitely recommended and I would come back anytime.
Perfect location for Amsterdam. All we needed. Located on street level, which might bother some guests, but it wasn't an issue for us. Would happily go back.
We loved staying in Elisabeth’s place! It was so central to everything and we were able to walk or bike (rented bikes from the nicest woman just down the street). Does get a bit noisy because you’re right on a busier street but we had really peaceful sleep each night! I can’t believe how close you are to the canal and beautiful bridge. Would definitely stay here again :)

The Jordaan is possibly the most famous neighbourhood in the Netherlands. Akin to the reputation enjoyed by London’s Cockneys, this once working-class bastion was renowned for tight community bonds, radical politics and a love for drink and over-the-top sing-a-longs. Gentrification of decades past has attracted more galleries, restaurants, specialty shops and upwardly-mobile residents to its scenic streets but there’s undeniably still a distinct atmosphere to be enjoyed here.
The Jordaan begins at Brouwersgracht, just west of the Amsterdam Central Station and arches around the western side of Canal Ring between Prinsengracht and Lijnbaansgracht before ending at Leidsegracht. The area north of Rozengracht is a more ‘touristy’ and commercial section, although the quieter area to the south is no less scenic.
Very easy acces by public transportation. You'll be in the middle of everything what is going on in Amsterdam, so no real need for any public transportation :)
