Such a wonderful, peaceful escape from the city. Lovely open plan space with bifold doors looking out to the deck and stunning landscape. Cows, chickens and Guinea pigs right next to the backyard which was a huge bonus for our daughter! Very friendly and responsive host - thank you!!

Highly recommend Lydias place if you're looking for a place to relax and disconnect from TV and wifi. Our stay made for a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with our young family, and we enjoyed the piano, guitar and kayaks. The water is much closer than we thought, and aside from the walk down the hill we didn't leave the property during our stay. Our kids loved the bunks with a view out to Whangarei Heads. After checking out we enjoyed exploring Whangarei Heads and Ocean Beach. Excellent value for money - such a great find!
