This house is tucked away and very secluded. We had a wonderful time going to the beach and exploring in the woods. Then we had time to cook as a family and relax with the fireplace on. It made for an ideal family vacation.

We unexpectedly had extra guests staying and asked Sam if that was okay. He said it would be fine but might be crowded. It was not crowded at all, big house with lots of space. Probably helped that 5 guests were 8 years old and under so they took up less space. Beautiful large yard where the kids could run. We saw deer every morning. It was very quiet and we could hear the ocean from the deck. Enjoyed star gazing the first night. Huge closets and lots of drawer space in the dressers in the bedrooms. Large full bathroom and a smaller one in the laundry room with a shower. I slept on a futon which was very comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Kitchen well stocked with silverware, pots and pans plus other kitchen essentials. The kids loved the house and had plenty of room to play. I was very happy with my decision to stay here and all members of my family agreed. We were in Bandon to go to a family reunion and had ppl at the house from Texas, California, Washington and Oregon.

The house was perfect...super clean, quiet location, close to the beach, great porches and yard. The house is so roomy that we had 9 people and a dog and were not crowded in the least. Thanks so much for your hospitality...we hope to be back soon!

Merchants Beach House was very unique with a huge lot and a view of the ocean. It was great for our three generations of family members and two dogs. We did feel like we were in a bit of a time warp and it was comfortable and nostalgic. Sam was a very responsive and clear communicator. We drove past it when we arrived after dark, because it is so private. When we found it, it was delightful.
