This charming cottage is beautifully renovated, so you can quietly relax and comfortably enjoy your holiday in the quaint village of Broadway. The historic High Street offers many restaurants, pubs, and tea rooms, as well as a fine selection of shops, art galleries and museums. If you prefer to explore the surroundings, this is the perfect base from which to visit neighbouring villages and scenic areas in the Cotswolds. Tiddlemouse Cottage is ideal for a family holiday or a group of friends who want a peaceful respite in a quiet neighbourhood. The cottage can accommodate a total of six guests in four separate bedrooms, with either a maximum of six adults OR a combination of adults with children for a total of six guests. The front door opens into an entryway, off which are the following rooms: Main lounge: The main lounge has two upholstered sofas, an armchair and a wall-mounted 43 inch Ultra HD Smart LED TV. There is an ornamental fire place, and the exquisite front windows are the original lead windows which date back to the early 1900s. Dining room: The dining room table can accommodate a maximum of eight people. French doors lead to the delightful courtyard garden, a beautiful view while dining. Kitchen: This tastefully decorated kitchen contains a gas oven, four-ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, standard coffee machine and toaster. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of pots, mixing bowls and utensils. The cupboard under the stairs has plenty of space to store food and beverages. Second lounge: The second lounge has two upholstered sofas, an armchair and a wall-mounted 43 inch Ultra HD Smart LED TV. There is an ornamental fire place, and the exquisite front windows are the original lead windows which date back to the early 1900s. Having the second lounge is ideal if the adults in your group want to view different TV programmes than the children. Utility room: This useful space contains a washing machine, dryer, sink and a microwave. Cloakroom: The ground floor cloakroom (or half bathroom) has a toilet and sink and a large mirror. The bedrooms and full bathrooms are accessed via two different flights of steep, carpeted stairs with banisters: Four bedrooms: All of the bedrooms are bright and beautifully decorated, and have black out shades for sleeping late or resting during the day. Each of the two larger bedrooms has a king size bed, a chest of drawers and a large closet for hanging clothes and storing luggage. Each of the two guest bedrooms has one standard single bed (3'0" x 6'3") and one small single bed (2'6" x 5'9"), and an armoire with hanging space and drawers. The small single beds are stored beneath the standard singles when guests do not need them, but can be raised to the same level as the standard single beds when set up. (The photos show the single rooms with one standard single bed in each.) The two guest bedrooms with single beds are separated by two doors. When the doors are open, guests may walk easily across the entire first floor. When these doors are closed for privacy, guests may access one side of the first floor or the other via the two different flights of stairs. The two full bathrooms are fully renovated. One has a large bathtub (perfect for bathing children) with a shower. The other bathroom has a large walk-in shower. There are NO grab rails for guests with mobility needs. The delightful garden is a beautiful, private area to enjoy a meal and relax during warmer weather. With colourful flowers and leafy shrubs and trees, this enclosed outdoor area contains two garden tables with eight chairs. The rest of the garden area is laid to lawn and is perfect for children to play outdoors. Please view the photos for additional information. Please note: We do not have safety gates for children in the cottage. The two lounges at the bottom of the stairs have doors, and all of the bedrooms upstairs have doors. Bed linens, towels, bath mats, toilet paper and kitchen roll are supplied for you. While some may consider our cleaning fee to be high, it reflects the time and attention to detail that we consider important, whilst also respecting the work and consistency involved in cleaning a property this size.
