Pleasant stay : good aircon, comfortable bed, clean and spacious room. It is a hotel, not a residential building. Great staff. Nice location in an authentic and lively neighborhood with many local restaurants and coffee places. There is no washing machine inside the room (only in the building). In the kitchen, there is no utensils (no pot, no pan, no plates...), so very difficult to use the kitchen.

This hotel is where one should stay for a more authentic experience in Ho Chi Minh. Near enough to the attractions but nestled in the heart of a bustling neighborhood that is frenetic with life! A mart couple houses away, coffee shop, restaurants, local market within walking distance as are many restaurants and shops. A bike or scooter ride away are many other more local experiences of temples, restaurants, and even a little nightlife if that is your fare. Near to enough but far enough away to take a break and experience the culture. The staff. Second to none. They are attentive to the resident's needs and are very helpful. I would not have managed to navigate my experiences so well without the help of the staff. From checkin Jason was extra helpful and clearly explained anyway any confusions I may have had. Thu and the house staff ensured I lived within standards my mother would approve of. They also ensured I knew where all the good local spots were! This hotel is super clean, has great amenities, and looks beautiful inside and out. The staff ensures guests are helped if there is any confusion with translations that may arise, delivery, taxi and the like. The internet allowed for good streaming and video calls with no issue. Overall, this was a super stay. This is now my goto if staying in Ho Chi Minh. Great staff, great location, great property. Emerald is a gem.

Nice and good hospitality. The cleaning lady’s are so nice and the receptionists are always available to help with anything at any time when needed. :-)
