This was truly the right place at the right time. I needed a great place for the winter/holiday season to set up for my families Thanksgiving and Christmas and I wanted it to be somewhere special and unique, and this was it. Kayaking on the Potomac, enjoying the views watching the wildlife and being in that place was restorative. And I needed the two refrigerators, the three ovens and the space to put my family and all my Christmas decorations up and it worked perfectly. And what more can you say about Fredericksburg, the battlefields, downtown Fredericksburg is magical during the holidays, the restaurants, this is a gem.

We played pickle ball for the first and had lots of laughs. We swam in the pool in late September even though it was a little chilly and laughed, sat for hours on the screened in porch watching eagles, herons, geese, mocking birds and every other kind of bird and laughed, we also played pool, and sat on the deck having cocktails and laughed. The views looking out to the river were fantastic. Thanks for a great week.

The creek house offered exactly what we were seeking: a private waterfront getaway near our children in Washington DC. Clean! Extremely well equipped! Pool towels, floats, games provided. Newer appliances in kitchen and laundry. While we didn’t come for the tennis, it became a daily morning ritual (both tennis and pickle ball)! Afternoons were spent cooling off at the pool and playing poolside games. Indoor and outdoor speakers easily accessed our own Spotify. Excellent Wi-Fi made a day of remote work possible. We grabbed groceries at Costco and Wegmans prior to arriving (30 minutes away) and enjoyed cooking and eating meals in-house during the week. Having both a second refrigerator and dishwasher on the lower level provided space for extra food and beverage storage…a wonderful bonus. Indoor games /tv / pool and ping-ping table kept us busy in the evenings. We were blessed with perfect weather and made some wonderful memories. Thanks to Fitz for being so easy to work with!

From the moment we arrived it was clear how much care Fitz puts into the home and the property. We went directly to the backyard to see the amazing view and it did not disappoint. The house was exceptionally clean and had every amenity we needed or wanted. Fitz responded immediately to all of our questions and even accommodated an extra night for us. The indoor/outdoor sound system was amazing to have and will likely be added to our house when we get home! We felt at home and we made some incredible family memories. Thank you!

Beautiful! Peaceful! My family stayed in Fitz’s home for an extended stay as we were awaiting a move into our new home. We felt like we were on the best vacation. Relaxing by the water and pool after work each day was the best! My husband worked from home and the wifi never failed and as a bonus he had a waterfront view! We used the upstairs covered patio every night for our family dinners, and did lots of grilling. We lounged by the pool and took afternoon naps under the deck on the weekends. You can’t go wrong with this get away! Kitchen was immaculate and fully stocked. Beds are comfortable. Fitz was the best host and accommodated everything we needed for our stay. He was very fast to respond and even messaged us on check out day with an offer to stay as long as we wanted that day because it was Father’s Day! Thank you, Fitz for your hospitality and care!
