We had a great time. Melanie was extremely inviting and friendly into her property and was a great host! One of the best experiences we have had with aribnb homes.
Melanie and Bartley were wonderful, beyond expectations. Loved their beautiful place, great for walks and outdoor experience in general. Lovely people.
We had an excellent stay in Hill Country and Melanie was a great host! Melanie was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Extra points for the welcoming party (two very friendly dogs!) each time we drove up to the house. Melanie took our family and friends on a drive around the property and is was very relaxing to feel like you were in nature. It was a great first trip to Hill Country for us!

The property is beautiful and quiet. Excellent place to unwind and relax. Go for a walk, feed the sheep, pet the two sweet dogs.. if none of that floats your boat, you’re 10 minutes or less from most of the Fredericksburg area vineyards, and less than 30 from the center of Fredericksburg.

After 30 plus years in education, I have retired and am falling right into the roles of ranch-hand, home renovator, grounds keeper and DIY enthusiast. As busy as I am, I am always (make that usually) up to an outing at one of my favorite wineries, locals night at Albert Bar, a drive on country backroads or a good meal with friends.
