We had an amazing time. The home was so comfortable with brilliant touches. From the welcoming calming music to the basket and bits of goodies. It made us all feel right at home. The house had so many beautiful features and areas to relax and spend time as a family. Dan was a perfect host. He gave some lovely recommendations and the local pub was great.

Dan’s place is such a beautiful chic and elegant contemporary refit of a village chapel. The whole place is so thoughtfully designed. The linens and pillows luxurious. The projector ace. We took a few walks right from the front door along the river and fishing lakes. Gorgeous! He went way beyond with his generosity. I would heartily recommend his place.

UTTERLY EXQUISITE! If I could give 7 stars, I would. And Dan's place deserves them all. The Chapel looks and sounds gorgeous on Airbnb but it must be seen to be believed. Inside a beautiful 19th century chapel, Dan has created a gem of interior design and a haven of livable relaxation. The conversion is an ingenious use of space with a large dining / kitchen area, living room loft, beautiful bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a meditation nook in the ceiling, and even a sauna (if you're lucky enough to get the master bedroom). Moreover, every detail has been considered - from the smart home-control system to underfloor heating, for example, or the selection of incense dhoops to the fully stocked kitchen, and multi-plug charging cables. I could go on... If you ever want to leave the Chapel (which I had to force myself to do!), the town is peaceful and beautiful with friendly locals, a gastropub, and lovely nature walks. If you get the chance, you MUST experience The Chapel.

Dan was the most thoughtful and generous host for my parents and gave them a wedding anniversary they’ll never forget. From all the luxury amenities to the beautiful surroundings and thoughtful and unexpected personalised touches, everything was absolutely perfect. My parents said they felt like they were living a beautiful dream staying in Dan’s place! They were so impressed but also felt so at home. Could not recommend it highly enough.

Dan’s Chapel is one of the very best places I’ve stayed through AirBnB. It is the perfect juxtaposition of a gorgeous old traditional building on the outside, beautifully restored with care and attention to detail, with a big dollop of clever design and imaginative styling on the inside, all weaved together with some great tech. There are so many superlatives to say about Dan’s place it’s best you just book and enjoy the experience. Oh and Dan is the very best host, from the hamper full of goodies, to the stocked fridge of items we asked for (he’d asked us what we’d like on our arrival :-)… all that you could ever hope for and more, a truly magical stay, thank you Dan. PS With four coffee making options it’s a coffee lovers paradise as well ☕️🙏🏼❤️
