Overall a great stay, the location was gorgeous, nestled in the hills with amazing views and the most gorgeous Goats! the house was comfy, slightly warm but it was the hottest days of the year! my only suggestions would be to add a welcome pack, maybe toilet rolls on arrival but very trivial really! we had a great time - next time we may look at the lodge instead - they were stunning! x

We enjoyed our stay even with wet Welsh weather. Positive points. Lovely setting David is a very welcoming host, and interesting to talk to. Not too far to major shops in Bridgend We stayed in the Anex, it has a spacious main room Large dining table that everyone can fit round. Bottle of milk and wine in the fridge. (we don’t drink but appreciated the gesture) We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that but it was running and looked clean. Large selection of Novels tucked away in “back stairway". Plenty of parking space Negative points The layout of the house is unusual. Two of the rooms are best described as bathrooms with ensuite bedrooms. Road through the village surprisingly busy and noisy at times if windows are open No large pots for cooking. The first aid box almost empty!! Internet connect was very weak and sometimes appeared to be turned off, also we had to ask for code rather than have it supplied. Place a bit tired and would benefit from a spruce up.

Spacious accommodation with gorgeous views.. The Kitchen was well equipped and 2 fridge-freezers were great. The Hot tub was amazing and very relaxing after a day out. Wi-Fi is poor and only a few areas in the house get weak signal. House was overall clean, but some of the sheets didn’t look fresh and we found something left behind in one of the rooms by previous guests. There were no instructions or information booklet provided. David was otherwise helpful and called us in advance to answer any questions we had and to ensure we had the right directions to the cottage. So finding the property with David’s directions was very easy. Location was good and close to Swansea and Cardiff and some beautiful beaches. Overall we had a good time, the property has potential with its space and location, but we felt it needs that extra touch, care & attention to make it better.
