We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waterscape and this property. This was our first time staying in such a large complex. We usually do a house or small 15ish unit condo building. At first it was a bit overwhelming. A detailed map of the complex and info on the beach situation would have been helpful. One day in we had the lay of the land and all was good. We are definitely sit by the ocean all day not the pool kind of people. The pool area is wonderful, I would say the best feature about the staying at this house. Lazy river, huge pool with lily pads, kid pool, another heated pool and three hot tubs make for a very fun time..especially for the kids. Plenty of deck/patio seating also. Beautifully landscaped and the grounds were very clean. Everyone of the employees we came across could answer any questions we had with a smile. The guys running the beach chairs/umbrellas on the beach were especially helpful. With so many options of condos and resorts on the gulf it is hard to know which to choose unless you know the area well. The location was great. Right on the gulf and very close to restaurants, shops, the market and entertainment. We were able to walk to dinner and to the go kart- Mini golf down the street. We were not traveling with anyone under the age of 10 though. 😉 The house was very clean and had a decent view of the gulf. The balcony and its furniture was perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal or drink. The bunks were semi private but perfect for our teens. The other two bedrooms connect to the balcony and have large en-suites. All beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could need for in house meals. There was no plastic cups or Tupperware type item for taking food and drinks to the beach or pool, so bring your own. The dining space both worked great for us, 5 chairs and 5 people. The living room had just enough space for us all to squish in. Two comfortable leather couches with 5 spots. A family of six or more would have a hard time watching a movie on a rainy day. We were meeting two other families that were also staying in Fort Walton and different condos/resorts. They were impressed with the amenities. We all plan on staying at the Waterscape next year 😎

Waterscape is a beautiful resort! The pool/lazy river/water play areas are top notch and provide hours of fun for the family. The beach access is excellent and the beach has the softest sand I’ve ever felt. This condo is decorated nicely and has lots of room to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!
