A neat and tidy home, well laid out and surprisingly spacious given its location. Very well appointed and enhanced by good quality linen, towels, furniture, fixtures and fittings. A true home from home.

We loved Roberts cottage & it's location! So easy to walk into Chester and also excellent ly situated for Chester zoo & The Blue Planet! We really wished we'd had longer there! Robert was more than generous with the supplies he'd left for us,very much appreciated thank you! Very comfortable beds,everyone slept really well!There's a strong possibility we may return sometime!

Such a beautiful property in an idyllic location. The house was beautifully presented and very comfortable with everything we needed, definitely felt like a home from home 🏡. The hosts left some lovely touches for us such as milk, juice and cereals which we're greatly appreciated and a nice, unexpected gesture ☺️. Having the canal behind the cottage added to the peaceful atmosphere and the nearby village was a lovely stroll away. There was a park and ride 5 minutes away which took us straight into Chester which was very convenient and reasonably priced. Great for readers, lots of books provided and we could really see the hosts personal touches throughout the property. Would reccomend driving into the Welsh town of Llangollen Wharf for a nice stroll and horse drawn boats along the Aquaduct.Well worth the trip, excellent value for money and would highly recommend staying here, can't wait to come back! Thank you so much!! 🙏🏻☺️

We loved our stay but didn’t make the most of the area so that just means we’ll need to go back, which we will definitely do without checking if there’s anything else available in the area. Just as described and done well. Our favourite Airbnb to date!
