Great stay at Angie's! Room looked exactly as advertised, and Angie provided a coffee machine and Welsh cakes in the room. She has a shy but lovely cat, but is very careful that it never enters the room so that guests with allergies won't have any issues sleeping. I don't have that problem, but I found it thoughtful.

Angie is very friendly and helpful and made our 3 night stay very straightforward and easy despite her house being quite small. She was very clear and helpful with instructions when we arrived and we were made to feel very much at home. It is only a small bedroom but it was fine for my friend and myself. We walked in to the city centre each day ( about 30 mins to the Principality Stadium) and also walked back late at night through the backstreets of small terraced houses typical of Cardiff. We made our own breakfast but didn’t bother cooking although Angie was happy for us to do so. The stairs are quite steep but it didn’t bother us. There’s a small Tesco about 5 mins walk away. We had a beer in the local pub at the end of the road one evening, a typical back street pub full of noisy locals and a parrot!

Angie is a lovely person and has a wonderful ability to make you feel at ease and welcomed into sharing her home. And the cat helps too!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Angie’s place. The room and common spaces have everything you need. Angie has clearly thought through every little detail and was extremely helpful with tips and helping us find a parking space. Great value, good location, excellent cat. What’s not to love
