The cider house was a beautiful, quirky property and so comfy and cosy. Karen was such a thoughtful host as I've never stayed somewhere with so much available to the guests. From toiletries to milk in the fridge, extra bedding to the lovely welcome goodies pack. There was even a toothbrush charger! So much care and thought had been put into our stay and what would make guests feel at home. The house is bigger than it looks in the photos too! My only issue was that the property is alongside a very busy road. I had a lot of trouble sleeping due to cars and lorries driving past at all hours, which was worse at 6am onwards with commuter traffic. Apart from this, we all had a lovely stay.

Amazing stay at The Cider House. Just back from a weekend away to celebrate a birthday. The location is perfect to visit the local villages but also a short drive to Bristol and Bath. The thought behind everything Karen and Kevin have set up is second to none. Karen was helpful and gave us recommendations for some restaurants before we came so we were able to book in advance. Kevin was lovely and greeted us on our arrival. The cottage is a great size and was immaculate. The cottage was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. They really did think of everything, from different teas, coffees, milks to any toiletry you could think of. There was also a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies and some water and soft drinks in the fridge. The rooms were lovely and beds really comfy. The two bathrooms are a great size and we enjoyed the room with a massive bathtub. I’ve stayed in many air bnb’s and have to say this was one of the best. Would highly recommend.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay. The accommodation is beautiful, the house has everything you could possibly need and feels cosy and homely. We enjoyed exploring both Bristol and Bath and then returning to unwind in front of the fire. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed with another couple and we could not recommend this airBnB more. We didn’t get the chance to meet Karen but saw Kevin a few times and he was so so lovely, friendly and very approachable. I’ve already recommend this stay to friends and family and I feel like I will be back soon myself. We drove to most places from the house, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely restaurants and pubs nearby, a favourite of ours was a micro pub nearby called The Plough. Thank you so much Karen and Kevin, and I’m sure I’ll see you very soon!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and both said it’s one of the best air bnbs we have stayed in. A beautiful, cosy and nicely decorated cottage, it was even better than the photos! The bath and log burner were amazing touches😍we loved seeing the birds and squirrels every morning outside the window eating from the birdfeeders. We was impressed by everything here and would 100% come back, we didn’t want to leave! A lovely welcome basket and was a very well equipped cottage. We had the chance of meeting Kevin who was very lovely and chatty and gave us some more recommendations to do on our trip. Overall, a stunning and peaceful cottage and great location to everything, thank you for a wonderful stay!! ☺️xxx
