What a gem! Gorgeous setting on a beautiful pristine quiet lake. The Carriage House is lovely, sunny and light, perfectly outfitted, comfortable, and has everything you need. Lots of towels, good shower, excellent kitchen, great deck, easy access to the lake. The swimming and kayaking were magical (mid September). Katerina and Dave are great hosts. Always available, friendly, and welcoming, but never intrusive. We came to decompress and it worked! We were sad to leave. And if you need supplies it’s an easy beautiful drive to amenities on south Quadra.

Hosts were wonderful and the lake was beautiful and warm. There is lots of great paddling and hikes both from the location and near by. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and great bbq as well. We will plan to come back!

The place was exactly as described and photographed, but even better - more privacy, great view of the lake and horizon, walking distance to an ocean bay (Bold Point is within half an hour walk and it is stunning there - absolutely worthwhile walking or driving for a picnic or sightseeing). The hosts Kat and Dave are super friendly and forthcoming with their valuable recommendations. Getting to the place from the ferry was easy and both Kat and Dave greeted us at the entrance and showed us around. Most of the time both were available for any questions. The rest of the property is very well maintained and beautiful. The place is a little small inside but has a big balcony/patio. Overall, the place has everything you can ask for. We did cycling, walking, kayaking and swimming. The lakes have beautiful clean and warm water and there isn’t much boat traffic. We managed to paddle quite far and found some good private beaches. Thank you Kat, Dave and Tico!

Wonderful stay at the carriage house! Very kid friendly and accommodating hosts. Seconds away from the beautiful, refreshing lake. Can’t wait to plan another visit!
