Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment, toilet and heated towel rail.. Heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. . 3 Waterwheel Apartments is a light and well-furnished property located in the World Heritage Site of Charlestown. The balcony, furnished with a table and seating for four people is accessible by the open plan living and dining room. The property benefits from private parking within the development and Wi-Fi access throughout. The Waterwheel Apartments are a modern development with the South West Coastal Path nearby. There are a number of interesting walking routes to explore many of which start and finish from the Waterwheel Apartments. Charlestown is an historic village with several pubs and restaurants to enjoy, as well as a heritage centre. Untouched by development,this village has often been used as a location for films and TV productions such as Dr Who, The Three Musketeers and Poldark. There are many beaches nearby to choose from, Charlestown Beach is sandy with pebbles of geological interest and Porthpean Beach, a great family friendly beach is a short drive away. For those interested in golf, there are three golf courses nearby. Just over a mile away is the market town of St Austell. Here you will find an array of larger shopping outlets, restaurants and attractions. The world-famous Eden Project is only 5 miles from Charlestown and offers a fun-filled day for all age groups. Nice flat, spacious with all the facilities and stylish decor. Convenient location for Charlestown access.
Comfortable, clean and well equipped accommodation, perfect for 4 people. Good location, with just short walk down to beautiful Charlestown harbour. Parking outside. Very happy with staying and would use again.
Great stay thanks
Overall a very pleasant stay. The apartment is in a great location, with Charlestown Harbour a short walk down the hill. On site parking is a great bonus. The key safe was not clearly marked, so it was difficult to locate which one was ours. The apartment was very clean, however, the towels smelt musty. I would bring your own. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, none of us slept well. The TV is very old, however, there is a Chromecast you can use. I felt the information pack was very shabby and was not up to date. It even had details of an old wi-fi code in it. There appears to be an issue with the plumbing in the block, pipes are very noisy, especially in the main bathroom. The tap on the bath was also loose. There was a lot of noise in the second bedroom, possibly a loose gutter outside. Very difficult to sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however, I feel all the small issues above add up, and it is a shame, as these could be easily addressed.
