Why we'd come back: Spectacular location, amazing views, easily fit our 10-person family with room to spare, walking distance to a very nice beach, great communication and responsiveness from Jana (host). Notes for others: Living room and family room furniture are very old, a bit tattered and uncomfortable. Suggested to the owner they consider updating as it was the only think that kept us from giving 5 stars across the board.

We had wonderful time at Top Cliff Villa, a beautiful location with scenic views. The accommodation was very spacious and allowed for 4 families ( including 6 young children) to have their own space as well as great communal areas. The pool is amazing and proved a very welcome source of cooling off in the extreme heat! Jana and Vit are excellent hosts and they responded promptly to any questions we had. Their recommendations in terms of places to visit, chef hire etc were also very good. The villa is about a 7 min walk to the beach through the pretty village of Burgau. The only downside was the beach cafes not opening before 10am when with young children we were on the beach by 8am! Would thoroughly recommend this place.

Janna was an excellent host. The Villa was in a beautiful location. It has loads of space, with lots of extra rooms, e.g. two kitchens, games room with pool table. The only bread on we didn’t give it 5 stars was that it is on a steep slope, with lots of stairs, making it unsuitable for people with disabilities. Having said that, we had a great time with our group of 6 adults and 4 children (aged 1 year old up to 8 years old had a wonderful holiday. Many thanks to Janna.

1000 stars for Jana & Vit, and the Villa! Our group of 9 adults and 3 kids had the most amazing and memorable week here. Jana was always really helpful with bookings, recommendations, changes and last minute requests! Can’t say enough good things about the villa. All the bedrooms were really comfortable and the pool was stunning. Without a car, it was an easy walk into Bergau and very easy to catch Ubers into Lagos or other local beaches. It was helpful having at least 1 car for the group for grocery shopping etc. We did the winery tour and in-house chef with the Villa’s partners and both were excellent experiences. We’d highly recommend Jana and the Villa for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable time in Portugal. We’d love to stay again!

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week in this home . The home was beautiful,spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed walking to the village and enjoyed meals at restaurants that Jana and Vit recommended. We highly recommend this home
