It is a 3-bed cozy big apartment with kitchen. Jose's son Sergio picked me up at the airport and showed me around. He is friendly and helpful. More importantly, he speaks english. Recommended.

Exactly as described, clean, new. José Miguel was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. It was nice to stay in a flat as opposed to a hotel. Great communication as well. Thank you!

Jose Miguel is the best host you could dream of. I was travelling solo and booked his appartment (there are actually three appartments in his hotel Cristal Colors and he doesn't live there) because I wanted something better than a tiny hotel room and a good wifi since I also had some work to do on one of the days. As soon as I arrived at the airport, Jose Miguel organized everything for me : he found me a group to go to Cano Cristalles with the next day (and thus pay less) and offered to have breakfast together in the morning. I didn't speak spanish much but enough to understand him and same thing for him with english. Because of his job of public/government nature that I will not divulge here to not spoil the next travellers, he is one of the most respected personnalities of La Macarena and you can really see it when you go anywhere in town with him. He was reachable anytime during the day on whatsapp when I had a question and really cared about making sure I had a good time in La Macarena. The appartment was huge and like new and was cleaned every day while I was gone which I wasn't expecting from an airbnb. Excellent smell (no smoking smell for example) and enough light. Bed was comfy. Wifi worked well except during global power outages (they happened every now and then when it rained a lot). Overall I had a wonderful stay at Cristal Colors and would recommend it to anyone travelling to La Macarena, you will really feel like home.
